Generator: A general term for a device that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy。The electricity generated can be either direct current or alternating current。
Ground: refers to the connection between the circuit and the earth or between some conductive objects communicated with the earth。
Idle control: A system that can directly control the idle speed of the engine based on the electrical load。
Ignition coil: A device that provides DC voltage to a spark plug。
Permanent magnet generator: An alternator with a permanent magnet used to generate the current required for ignition of an internal combustion engine。
Ohm: A unit of resistance。
Phase: A uniform, periodic change in the amplitude or magnitude of alternating current。A three-phase alternating current consists of three distinct sine-wave currents, each with a phase difference of 120 degrees。
Power conversion system: This system can safely connect the generator to the home power system。
Rated speed: design working speed of the unit (revolutions per minute)。
Rated voltage: The rated voltage of an engine generator set is its designed operating voltage value。
Rear bearing bracket: A casting used as a rotor bearing cover。Rotor bearings support the rotor shaft。
Rectifier: A device that converts alternating current to direct current。
Inverter: converts direct current energy (battery, battery) into alternating current (generally 220v50HZ sine or square wave)。
Relay: An electric switch, usually used in a control circuit。Compared with current contactors, the contacts can only pass a small current。
Resistance: resistance to an electric current。
Rotor: The rotating element of a generator。
Single-phase: An AC load or power supply, usually with only two input terminals if it is a load, and two output terminals if it is a power supply。
Stator: the stationary part of a motor。
Vibration bracket: A rubber device located between the engine or generator and the frame to minimize vibration。
Volt: Unit of electromotive force。A constant application of the unit electromotive force to a conductor with a resistance of 1 ohms will produce a current of 1 amp。
Voltage: Potential difference, expressed in volts。
Voltage regulator: This device automatically keeps the generator voltage at a correct value by controlling the DC power of the excitation rotor。
Watt: Unit of power of a power supply。For direct current, it is equal to volts times amperes。For AC, it is equal to the voltage RMS (volts) times the current RMS (amps) times the power factor times a constant (whose value depends on the number of phases)。
Winding: All the coils of the generator。The stator winding consists of several stator coils and their interconnecting lines。The rotor winding consists of all the windings and connections on the magnetic pole of the rotor。编辑
